Bio

Alvaro Cox received his Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University in 2024, an M.A. in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, and a B.A. in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. He is a macroeconomist whose research focuses on economic growth and development. His work examines how human capital shapes firm dynamics and contributes to structural transformation.
