The Department of Economics of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid rises to 45th place of QS ranking by disciplines, placing it once again in the Top 50 in the discipline of “Economics and Econometrics”.
The QS ranking prioritizes research at universities by analyzing four indicators: the academic institution’s reputation among academics, the reputation among employers, the number of citations and the so-called h index, which measures the quality of researchers according to the number of citations their articles have received.
Along with Economy UC3M, another 18 Spanish faculties – belonging to 10 Universities – join, reaching the top 50 in their respective areas.
